For best care, machine wash gently in cold water, using a mild detergent, and avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.

Line dry out of direct sunlight, refrain from tumble drying to prevent shrinkage or fabric deterioration. If necessary, use a cool iron on the reverse side of the fabric to avoid damaging any prints or embellishments.

Avoid contact with rough surfaces or abrasive materials, as this may cause pilling or snags in the fabric. For long-term care, store the garment in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or moisture.

About The Design

Created by First Nations artist Wendy Rix, a proud Yuwaalaraay woman.

The Never Forget polo honours Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women who have served in wars and peacekeeping missions. Indigenous Australians have served in virtually every conflict involving Australia since the early 20th century, from the Boer War through to East Timor and more recent operations. Many enlisted, serving with courage and distinction alongside fellow Australians, often without formal recognition at the time. Their contribution must be acknowledged as an important part of Australia’s military history.

The artwork depicts a rising sun over the ocean horizon, symbolising both the Anzac spirit and a new day. Small white crosses represent those who have passed, while the red cross pays tribute to nurses and the vital role of medical support, both abroad and at home.
